What does dying look like
\nor dying well
\nor living well
\nare they two separate things?
\ni would guess that it is one process
\nthat we are choosing how we will die now<\/p>\n
we seem to pick paths
\nwithout evidence
\nwithout RHYME without REASON<\/p>\n
and if that is true
\nwhat should we do
\nwhat should we be doing in our life
\nwhat should we expect in our death<\/p>\n
The world presents itself
\nslowly unfolding
\n(the amount of it that we see)
\ndata trickles in through our senses
\nBut no one can escape the boundaries of perception
\nno one can penetrate past what is available<\/p>\n
the END is intangible, illusive
\nit defies conceptualization
\nit resists acknowledgement<\/p>\n
the cacophony of color
\nthe tyranny of noise
\nthe onslaught of smells
\nthe barrage of flavors
\nthe blankets of tactile sensation
\nassaults our interior world
\nin the years before death
\nthe body decays
\nso do the memories
\nthe dreams are mostly dead
\ndoes the pain remain?
\ndo rose-colored glasses render mountainous disasters into mole-hills?
\ni hope so<\/p>\n
would a turing test run on a baby or a terminal patient?

are you from another world?<\/p>\n
did i know you?
\ndo i know you?
\ncan i know you?<\/p>\n
in a car, staring out the window, you see other cars<\/p>\n
where is everyone going?
\nthey travel fast.
